The Sounding of the Trumpet

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
I Corinthians 15:52-53
When Apostle Paul speaks to the people in Corinth, he is speaking of a great mystery that many longed to know about then and to know now. We will all be affected by this event in one way or another. Paul is speaking of a heavenly transporting of all those who believe in Christ. These believers that are living here on earth are anxiously waiting and longing for their heavenly home. Paul speaks of a glorious time of afterlife and a forever eternity in utter bliss with our Savior and King Jesus.

The angels will blow a trumpet awakening all who hear and before you can blink your eye; those who believe in Christ will fell a floating up from the ground, feet dangling in the air and a drawing upward to heaven being physically transformed physically to live in eternity.

What will happen to you when you hear that trumpet? Jesus Christ is coming! He is coming! On any day, at any moment, "in the twinkling of an eye . . . at an hour when you do not expect him . . . he who is coming will come and will not delay" (1 Cor. 15:52; Luke 12:40; Heb. 10:37).

Will you hear? This is your hope! Come to the Father!
